Does Anyone have the name and email / phone of someone at Sony who actually can and will help solve problems?

Long, long story, but my brand new xbr 850c's on screen instructions are wrong, there's no manual, the Sony online answers are wrong and no one at customer dis-service seems to be able or willing to help. And, of course, they have no way (they say) to connect to a supervisor. Last, but far from least, there doesn't seem to be a way to contact anyone at Sony corporate (electronics or otherwise).

Should I just return the set while I still can or is there someone at Sony who actually can and will help?
