Flagstaff, AZ? Need help on a shoot

Post » Sun Sep 05, 2010 7:27 am

Looking desperately for someone in the Flagstaff, AZ area or someone that can reasonably get to the Flagstaff, AZ area for a week-long shoot event. One of our guys was injured in a car accident, and we need a fast replacement.
No gear needed...
No, you won't have to jump out of helicopters, you'll just have to deal with the cold.
Sorry for this sort of post, but we're pretty desperate at last moment's notice.

I sure would LOVE to help. Flagstaff is my home town.
But now I live in So Cal and that's a 3+ hour flight.
Sure would be fun, though - especially if I DID get to jump out of a helicopter!

Given that it's currently -2 in Cameron, and -16 here in Stockton...I'd say it's cold. However, next week in Cameron, we're supposed to see highs in the high 30's, so I'll take that, but at 15k AGL, it's still around 0.

Its "freezing" here at 20F on the coast in California and the "governator" "Ahnold" just declared an emergency....

Yeah, we really are wimps here in "la-la land" !!!

Want some fresh frozen oranges? Real cheap....come and pick your own

Here in Palm Desert the golf course sprinkler actually caused ice on the greens two days in a row. This has never been known before. Naughty sprinklers!

Now I had been considering moving to Logan, Utah and Douglas says it's minus sixteen? Is that possible? Minus 16 Fahrenheit? Think I better stay in the desert.

Logan is often colder; it's quite a bit farther north. 2 hours from us, but then again, we're in the high mountains @ 6200 feet.
Pretty rare it gets this cold, just like there in Palm Desert, but it happens.
The high school in Logan was closed today due to the cold, according to the TV news.
Just think of how well your fine bubbly will do in that weather!~
Just think of how you'll have to buy a camera heater for that weather!
