Need to calibrate touchpad

Post » Wed Mar 07, 2012 5:56 am

Hello, first my system:

Sony Vaio VPCEB4LFX

Windows 7 64-bit

My issue is the touchpad is jumpy. It isn't as accurate as it used to be, and when I hold position with my finger, the pointer wiggles around and won't hold position. It also shoots ahead of my motion or doesn't follow my motion well at time.

I tried the F10 on bootup, and the touchpad functions fine is recovery menu. I uninstalled and reinstalled the Alps driver and it remains the same.

I attempted to locate the calibration tool after a google search, but cannot locate it under the mouse options. Does anyone know how to do this, or if there is a calibration application I can download to help resolve this issue?
