Dash Firmware update

Post » Wed Nov 25, 2015 3:23 pm

My Dash is saying it wants to install a new firmware update. With the lack of support for the product I am surprised and worried.

What is this firmware update 1.7.1461 supposed to do?

I allowed mine to update.

The only change I noticed is Slacker Radio is working now (had been broken for almost 3 months). But that could just be a coincidence.

I allowed the update and hulu is working now. It hadn't worked for several months. Also, the browser appears to be faster.

Has anyone whos done the update checked to make sure that netflix still works? I had heard awhile back that Sony and Netflix weren't playing nice and thats all I really use my Dash for. I'd hate to do an update only to lose the main thing I use my Dash for.

Thanks for any info

Yes, I tested Netflix on both of my Sony HID-C10's after the firmware update and they work great. :-)

Also just to clarify: the firmware update that I received today on 11/19/2015 was from 1.7.1415 - 1.7.1461.
