my sony HDR PJ650v camcorder does not stamp date and time when transferring to the pc

When i try to transfer photos or videos to my computer and/or burn them to a disk i do not see the date or time printed on them, i even went into settings and put date and time on but that only makes it visible on the camcorder itself not on the computer though so please can someone help me out ... thanks

Good day Mihai1964,

Although the data code for the video footage includes date and time information of the recording, it cannot be superimposed on top of the video when transferred to a computer using an i.LINK or USB connection. An i.LINK cable can pass date and time to a computer, but depending on the video capture software being used, it may only appear above or below the video window - the date and time will not appear on the video itself.
